Bill Pay Plus

Our Online Banking bill payment service allows you to take control of who, when, and how much to pay. You can easily set up one-time or reoccurring payments to just about anyone.

Get Started  
  • Log into your online banking session
  • Select the Bills & Payments tab
  • Choose CLICK HERE to request Bill Pay
  • On your primary checking account, select Edit under the I want to dropdown menu
  • Click the Basic with Bill Pay button and Submit
    • Approval may take up to 24 business hours
  • Return to your Bills & Payments tab
  • Set up your Payee information under the “Payee” button
  • Use your Payee information to send a one-time payment or set up reoccurring payments using your online banking session or mobile banking app

Once you have access to Bill Pay, we have video instructions to walk you through the process as well as online chat and telephone customer service to answer all of your questions.

Additional features include:

  • Pay a Person – allows you to electronically send money to an individual’s account via email or direct deposit.
  • GiftPay – send a monetary gift or donation to an individual or charity.
  • Bill Pay Alerts – let you set up text and/or email reminders about your bills
  • Interactive Calendar – conveniently shows when payments will be made to help you budget appropriately.
  • Bill Pay support is available by phone or online chat from 6:30 am to 1:00 am CST.

Fees:

  • $4.95 monthly inactivity fee if you do not make at least 1 payment within the calendar month.
  • Rush fees and fees associated with GiftPay are disclosed prior to making the payment

A convenient and quick option for sending money to a person without having to write a check!

Send Money via Online Banking:

  • Log into your First National Bank of Milaca online banking session
  • Select the Accounts tab
  • Click on “Pay Someone”
  • Enter recipient’s email address or mobile phone number, amount you want to send and your debit card information
  • Double-check that you entered the recipient’s information correctly
  • Send!

Send Money via Mobile Banking:

  • Log into your First National Bank of Milaca mobile banking app
  • Select “More”
  • Click on “Pay Someone”
  • Enter recipient’s email address or mobile phone number, amount you want to send and your debit card information
  • Double-check that you entered the recipient’s information correctly
  • Send!

The Recipient

Just like sending the money, it is simple and easy for the recipient to retrieve the funds.

  • Recipient will receive a text message or email link notifying them of the payment
  • By clicking on the link, the recipient is able to enter their debit card or bank account information
  • If debit card number is used, funds will be credited immediately
  • If bank account info is used, it may take 2-3 days to process

For security reasons, Pay Someone will never store the recipient’s personal information.

Fees

The sender will be charged a $1 initiation fee to use Pay Someone.

Cancelling Payments

As the sender, you can cancel a payment if the receiver has not claimed it.

To Cancel:  Click on the menu, choose transaction history and select cancel. You will receive a confirmation once the cancellation is complete.

Unclaimed Payments

If a payment has not been claimed by the recipient in 10 days, the funds will be returned to your account.

Mobile Payment Safety

While Pay Someone provides a convenient transfer option, it is important to use it with care.

  • Make sure you know the person to whom you’re sending money (be cautious of sending money to strangers)
  • Review the transaction to make sure you have the correct info (i.e. email address, phone number, amount) for the recipient before sending
  • Secure the app by using security features like face recognition, fingerprint, pins and passcodes, as available
  • NEVER share your login information with anyone for any reason
